GTF Taekwon-Do is a Korean martial art of self defence. It is one of the most powerful martial arts on the planet today. GTF Taekwon-Do was taught by the late Grandmaster Park Jung Tae who was the President and Founder of the Global Taekwon-Do Federation. Grandmaster Park’s techniques were second to none and the GTF was founded in 1990 when he left the ITF and his job of technical director to found his new world of Taekwon-Do body. He was known as “The Peoples Master”.
GFT Taekwon-Do has 6 more Patterns (Hyung) than the other ITF Taekwon-Do organisations, as well as bringing out 9 new kicking patterns, Sa Bhang Mako Chagi’s. The GTF also has the world’s longest pattern, Jook-Am, which has 95 movements. Anyone of any fitness level aged 3 yrs and above can train GTF Taekwon-Do.
At GTF Clydebank, we are extremely proud of all our students and we have a number of World and European Champions. All of our classes are run by fully qualified, indemnified and disclosure vetted instructors.
